Teaching Methodology

Not every child is similar, not every child requires the same amount of care. To be able to fulfill the needs of a child and to enable them to start becoming independent in their actions is what preschool teaching is all about. Guiding a bunch of young children who are coming out of their comfort zone for the first time and teaching them the basic skills of life. Junior Brave Hearts believes…
1. The best way of teaching a child is through taking up activities as role play, virtual games, singing, free play and a lot more. Such method of learning brings exposure to the child in a friendly environment.
2. Enabling the child to grow through imagination. We believe in developing the ability of thinking and imagining among children. Thus children are told stories, made to play games and create toys of available materials.
3. Developing the personality of a child through sensory learning which includes touching, smelling, seeing, tasting. The classroom includes such self correcting material, the use of which is demonstrated by teachers and seen acted by children.
4. Aiming at overall development of child through first hand experiences. It contains activities like puzzles, building blocks, clay etc. which enable a child to experience a given problem.

about

This supports children to learn to get on with others and make friends, understand and talk about feelings, learn about ‘right and ‘wrong’. Children are taught to describe basic feelings like sad, happy, angry, and excited. They should feel sorry and understand and they should apologies if something wrong has been done. We encourage children in meal time to talk with each others. Here, children pass the food, serve themselves, carry on conversations, talk about nutrition and manners and also clean-up. Our teachers sit with children in small groups and allow enough time making it a very social time. It happens in a relaxed family type conversation. As young children continue to develop socially with peers, they often enter a stage of tough and tumble play which includes running, racing, climbing or competitive games. Often this is a stage when social skills such as learning to take turn and follow simple group rules and norms are practiced. Our teachers follow every child whether they are listening and follow instructions, have close relationships with caregivers and peers, care about friends and show interest in others, understand others emotions and empathy.
